Jakarta, 30 July 2026 – PT Nusantara Sejahtera Raya Tbk. (the Company) (Cinema XXI; stock code: CNMA) reported revenue of IDR2.6 trillion, EBITDA of IDR708.2 billion, and net profit of IDR201 billion for the first half of 2026. These results demonstrate the Company’s strong operational performance despite ongoing global and domestic economic changes.
The Company’s performance saw improvement in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the first quarter. Total revenue increased by approximately 40%, from IDR1.1 trillion in the first quarter 2026 to IDR1.5 trillion in the second quarter 2026. This increase was supported by higher admissions, which grew from about 15.5 million in the first quarter of 2026 to 21.9 million in the second quarter of 2026, supported by new screens and a broader selection of newly released movies. Cinema ticket revenue increased by 38%, from IDR665.3 billion to IDR919.4 billion. Food and beverage revenue also grew by 48%, from IDR357.6 billion in the first quarter 2026 to IDR528.8 billion in the second quarter 2026.

In the first half of 2026, Cinema XXI generated IDR1.6 trillion from cinema ticket sales, contributing 60.2% of total revenue. Food and beverage sales contributed IDR886.3 billion, or 33.7%, while other revenue streams (advertising, digital platforms, and event management) contributed IDR160.2 billion, or 6.1%.
The Company continued its selective expansion into high-potential markets by opening Ciplaz Cipanas XXI and 23 Semarang XXI, adding seven screens in the first half of 2026. As of 30 June 2026, the Company operates 269 cinema locations with 1,395 screens across 55 cities and 30 regencies in Indonesia.
National and International Movies Attract Millions of Moviegoers
The first half of 2026 marked a positive period for Indonesia’s movie industry. National movies made up over 65% of Cinema XXI’s total admissions, highlighting public appreciation for local moviemakers. Overall, seventeen movies released between January and June of 2026 drew more than one million admissions across our cinema network nationwide. This is an improvement from the same period in 2025, where 15 movies surpassed one million admissions.
