Cinema XXI Reports 18.2% YoY Revenue Growth in Q1 2026

Jakarta, April 29 2026 – PT Nusantara Sejahtera Raya Tbk. (“the Company”) (Cinema XXI, stock code: CNMA) reported revenue of IDR1.1 trillion for the first quarter of 2026 (Q1 2026), an 18.2% increased from IDR929.2 billion in the same period last year. This growth was driven by solid growth across all business lines, with cinema ticket sales contributing 60.6%, food and beverage (F&B) 32.6%, and the remainder from other revenue streams (such as advertising, digital platforms, etc.).

We will continue to strengthen our fundamentals and deliver relevant and meaningful service innovations, consistent with our commitment to provide the best cinematic experience for all Indonesians,” said Cinema XXI’s President Director, Suryo Suherman.

Cinema ticket revenue in Q1 2026 increased by 14.3% to IDR665.3 billion, compared to IDR582.2 billion in Q1 2025. F&B segment revenue grew by 15.9% to IDR357.6 billion, with spend per head (SPH) remaining strong. The Company reported EBITDA of IDR226.9 billion in Q1 2026, an 81.2% increase from IDR125.2 billion in Q1 2025. This growth demonstrates improved operational efficiency as business expands.

The Company maintains a strong financial position, with total assets of IDR6.72 trillion as of March 31, 2026. Cash and cash equivalents totaled IDR1.75 trillion, with total equity at IDR4.34 trillion. Operating cash flow increased to IDR106.6 billion from IDR28.1 billion in the same period last year, indicating improved earnings quality and better working capital management.

F&B revenue also grew steadily, reflecting the Company’s commitment to delivering higher F&B standards. The Company will continue to invest in F&B innovation, prioritizing product quality, menu variety, and service experience. The Company aims to offer a more diverse and relevant selection of culinary options for local preferences by enhancing flagship menu items, introducing a variety of exclusive new offerings, and improving presentation and service speed across its cinema network.

In Q1 2026, strong momentum from local movies, especially those released across various genres during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period, contributed to robust performance. Audience enthusiasm for Indonesian filmmakers supported operational results and highlights the national film industry growth potential. In Q1 2026, 7 (seven) national movies surpassed one million admissions, an increase from 3 (three) titles in Q1 2025.

In accordance with the resolutions of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) on April 6, 2026, and as a demonstration of Cinema XXI’s commitment and appreciation to all shareholders who have supported the Company’s journey, the Company confirms that the final cash dividend of IDR7 per share and the distribution of treasury shares to eligible shareholders were completed on April 28, 2026.
