Adding New Screens in Lampung, Cinema XXI Opens Its First Cinema in Kota Metro
Kota Metro, December 16, 2025 – PT Nusantara Sejahtera Raya Tbk (Cinema XXI, stock code: CNMA), Indonesia’s largest cinema network, has officially opened its first cinema in Metro City, Lampung.
Located at Chandra Metro shopping center, the opening of Chandra Metro XXI brings the total number of Cinema XXI locations in Lampung Province to six. The Grand Opening of Chandra Metro XXI was attended by the Mayor of Kota Metro, H. Bambang Iman Santoso, S.Sos., M.Pd.I.
Suprayitno, Head of Government Relations of Cinema XXI, stated that the opening of Chandra Metro XXI is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to expanding access to high-quality entertainment for communities across various regions in Indonesia.
Chandra Metro XXI features three Deluxe studios with a total seating capacity of over 600 seats, equipped with high-quality audio and visual technology. In addition to enjoying their favorite movies with premium facilities, visitors can also enjoy a selection of quality food and beverage products from XXI Café. Movie tickets can be purchased directly at the cinema or online through the m.tix application, TIX ID, and GoPay. Visitors may also purchase food and beverages directly at the cinema or through the m.food feature on the m.tix application without the need to purchase movie tickets in advance.

Deni Wahyudi, General Manager of Chandra Group, expressed his hope that the presence of Chandra Metro XXI will help increase visitor traffic to Chandra Superstore Metro. The mall is expected to serve as a comprehensive shopping destination that fulfills the needs of Kota Metro residents, offering a wide range of facilities including a supermarket, department store, food and beverage outlets, and family-friendly entertainment such as a playland and the Chandra Metro XXI cinema. “The presence of Cinema XXI is expected to mark the beginning of further development progress in Metro City. Through collaboration with Chandra Superstore Metro as a local retail company in Lampung, we believe this partnership can contribute positively to the advancement of Metro City,” he stated.
